Lucille’s Story
A few weeks ago, this precious, petite pittie was brought into Grace Animal Hospital after being hit by a car. She was unable to move, and her legs were incredibly swollen. After assessing her further, it was found that she had a broken pelvis. While the pelvis should heal on its own and not require surgery, she was also found to be HW positive, so she has started treatment for that. Despite all of this, she is the most gentle, sweet soul. She wants to be on or near people at all times and would spend all her time getting pets in your lap if you’d let her. While we are not formally able to test her with dogs and cats due to her injuries, she has been very sweet with all of the people and animals that she has passed in treatment at Grace. She is only about 35 lbs and will be ready to move to a calm foster or adoptive home soon so that she can relax and heal in a cozy bed.
